Connect your AI assistant to Arez AI

Arez AI has a connector that lets the AI assistant you already use, like Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Muse, work with your Arez jobs, and it sees only what you can see in the app.

What your assistant can do once connected

Ask

  • What is on today, and who is clocked in
  • Your jobs, with client, address and status
  • An estimate, line by line
  • A job's task list and what is done
  • The latest messages in a job's Team thread
  • Which proposals are waiting for a signature
  • Money owed: invoiced, paid, and what you can bill next
  • Your latest notifications
  • Your proposal template

Do

Only when you choose "Can make changes" while connecting.

  • Create a job for a new client
  • Add a task to a job
  • Add a note to a job
  • Post a message in a job's Team thread
  • Log a receipt or other cost on a job
  • Change your proposal template, and undo the change (account owner only)

Things you can say

“What's on today, and who's clocked in?”
“Which signed jobs can I bill now?”
“Add a task to the Miller kitchen: order the quartz top by Friday.”

How to connect

Most assistants connect with this one link. You sign in to Arez, no key to copy.

Claude

Sign in with Arez, no key

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the Arez link and add it.
  3. Sign in to Arez when it asks, and choose Read only or Can make changes.

Claude Duet uses the connectors of the same Claude account, so you add Arez once.

ChatGPT

Sign in with Arez, no key

  1. On the web, open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, and create a connector. Some plans ask you to turn on Developer mode first.
  2. Paste the Arez link and add it.
  3. Sign in to Arez when it asks, and choose Read only or Can make changes.

Dots uses the same connections as your ChatGPT account.

Grok

Sign in with Arez, no key

  1. Open grok.com/connectors, choose New Connector, then Custom.
  2. Paste the Arez link and add it.
  3. Sign in to Arez when it asks, and choose Read only or Can make changes.

Muse

With a key

  1. In the Arez app, open Settings, then AI assistants, and tap Muse.
  2. Choose Read only or Can make changes, then tap Create key.
  3. Copy the setup message and send it to Muse in a chat.
  4. When Muse asks for the key, paste it in the secure key box, not in the chat. Arez shows the key only once.

Any other assistant that supports MCP connectors

  1. If it can add a connector by link: add the Arez link as a custom connector (MCP) and sign in to Arez when it asks. No key needed.
  2. If it asks for a key instead: in the Arez app, open Settings, then AI assistants, tap Another assistant, then Make a key.

Who can connect, and what they see

  • Each person connects their own Arez account. The assistant acts as that person.
  • It sees only what that person can see in the app. A crew member who cannot see prices never gets prices through an assistant.
  • A team member needs the account owner to turn on AI assistants for them.
  • The account owner can see every assistant connected on the account, and disconnect any of them, in Settings.
  • You can disconnect a sign-in or revoke a key at any time, in Settings, AI assistants. It stops working right away.
  • Up to 10 assistants per person at a time.

What it cannot do

  • It cannot delete anything: no jobs, estimates, tasks, files or messages.
  • It cannot send a proposal, an invoice or anything else to a client.
  • It cannot move money. No payments, no marking an invoice paid, no payouts.
  • It cannot sign documents or write estimates. You do that in Arez.
  • It cannot change your prices, your team or what people can see.
  • Connected as Read only, it changes nothing at all.

Plans

AI assistants come with the Professional and Agency plans. An active free trial counts.
